Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, and protected when you use the BeInfinityBuddy platform and the AI Masterclass course (the "Service"). Beinfinity Media Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data. The platform is built and hosted by Swarndesh Media Pvt. Ltd., which acts as our Data Processor and processes data only on our instructions.

1.Who This Policy Covers

This Policy applies to parents and legal guardians who create accounts, and to the children enrolled in the course. Accounts may only be created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or above, who provides consent on the child's behalf.

2.Data We Collect

We collect the following:

  • Parent or guardian account data: email address, and where you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
  • Child profile data: the child's name, date of birth, school, class, and section, provided by you during onboarding. We derive the child's age from the date of birth and do not store an age separately.
  • School affiliation: where you arrive through a school's referral link, we record which school the enrolment is associated with.
  • Payment data: order and payment confirmation details from our payment gateway. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
  • Learning data: course progress and quiz results for the enrolled child.
  • Technical data: essential cookies, session information, IP address, and basic analytics used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3.Why We Use It

We use personal data to create and manage the account, deliver the course to the enrolled child, process payment and grant access, provide progress and support, report enrolment numbers to affiliated schools, keep the Service secure, and meet legal obligations. Analytics is used for traffic and product improvement only. We do not build behavioural profiles of children and we do not use children's data for targeted advertising.

4.Communications

We send only essential service communications, such as verification codes, payment confirmations, and important account or course notices. We do not send marketing communications to children.

5.Parental Consent

Personal data relating to a child is collected only after the parent or guardian gives consent at onboarding, having been shown this Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though this may affect our ability to provide the Service.

6.Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data only as needed to run the Service:

  • Swarndesh Media Pvt. Ltd., as our Data Processor, for hosting and platform operation.
  • Our payment gateway, to process payments.
  • Our video hosting and streaming provider, to deliver course videos.
  • Our email service provider, to send essential communications.
  • Affiliated schools, limited to enrolment reporting for children associated with that school.
  • Authorities or advisers where required by law.

7.Where Data Is Stored

Our databases and supporting services are hosted with reputable cloud providers. Some of these services, including our primary database, are located outside India (currently in Singapore). Data is transferred and stored in accordance with applicable law and is protected by contractual and technical safeguards.

8.Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as the account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes. Where a child profile is created but the enrolment is never completed by payment, that profile is deleted within 90 days. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion as described below.

9.Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encrypted connections, secure session handling, access controls, and restricted internal access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously.

10.Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, the parent or guardian may:

  • Access the personal data we hold about the account and the child.
  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of personal data.
  • Withdraw consent, which may affect our ability to provide the Service.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of incapacity or death, as provided under the DPDP Act.
  • Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see "Grievance Officer and Contact").

11.Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use them to profile children.

12.Third-Party Links

The Service may reference or link to third-party services. This Policy does not cover those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13.Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email, and the effective date above will be updated.

14.Grievance Officer and Contact
